Good morning all!!! Wooooo Hoooooo!!!! The Fourth of July weekend is upon us! And so is blueberry season. A while back, Cherice asked about a recipe using blueberries.....I found one......she tweaked it.......and here it is! I haven't tried it, but Cherice has and says it's really good. Thinking this might be a good weekend to make this.....and it's easy!!! Faux blueberry cobbler anyone?
Blueberry Dump Cake
Makes 12 Servings
1 serving = 2 PointsPlus™
5 cups Frozen Blueberries ( I let mine thaw in Fridge for 24 hrs so they had some juice)
1/2 cup Splenda
1 box yellow cake mix (18.25 oz.)
1/2 cup (1 Stick) I can't believe it's not butter, melted
1 tsp. ground Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
Mix Berries, splenda and cinnamon in bottom of 13X9" pan. Cover with dry cake mix. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Do not Stir! Bake approx 40-45 minutes or until light Brown.
Also tried it with 4 cups berries. Was good but I like Blueberries!
Now for the 'legal mumbo-jumbo' to keep me out of court! *The PointsPlus™ value for this recipe was calculated by me (Jan Gomes) and is not an endorsement or approval of this recipe by Weight Watchers International, Inc., the owner of the PointsPlus™ registered trademark.*
Later!
